I wrote about this dirt bike a couple of years ago and wanted to mention a few improvements KTM has made to this quality line of dirt bikes since then. New features on the 2011 model include new bodywork on 2-stroke models, a new silencer, a new airbox and an optimized intake flange connecting to the carburetor. Oh, and KTM's 2011 dirt bike provides more horsepower from its 143.6cc engine than the 2009 did, if you're into that.

KTM 150 SX Dirt Bike 2011
What I like most about this KTM dirt bike is that its 150cc engine provides nearly as much horsepower as the 250cc KTM 250 SX dirt bikes. It's reliable, affordable and doesn't scrimp on performance features while being a little lighter on the pocket book. Overall KTM has managed to retain an excellent power to weight ratio on its very race friendly 150 SX series of motocross bikes and the 2011 improvements are actual improvements on the 2009 and 2010 models, they aren't just changes for the sake of change.
This KTM 150 SX dirt bike review wouldn't be complete without a warning, you'll want to squeeze the skinny frame between your knees when you open up to full throttle. KTM kept the price low by not offering an electric kick start, not by reducing engine performance, and that's ok with me.
