According to a recent report, Volvo will bring the V60 Plug-in Hybrid to the United States.
Unfortunately, the diesel engine - which enables the car to get a remarkable 123.8 mpg US (1.9 L/100 km) - will be dropped and replaced by a petrol unit. No word on specifications, but the American version should retain the 12 kWh lithium-ion battery, electric rear axle and all-wheel drive system.
