Volvo has upgraded the XC90 SUV for the 2012 model year.
New for the interior is the 3-spoke steering wheel, aluminum trim as standard and a watch dial-like new instrument panel design with white lighting.
The rear tailgate is divided into an upper and lower section while there's a new color-schemed leather grab handle and a newly designed load cover.
The XC90 also gets an upgraded Executive variant with features such as the soft leather seats with ventilation and massage functions.2012 Volvo XC90 refreshed 06.09.20112012 Volvo XC90 refreshed 06.09.20112012 Volvo XC90 refreshed 06.09.20112012 Volvo XC90 refreshed 06.09.2011
The R-Design XC90 gets a unique chassis with a redesigned upholstery, new inlays, door panels and 19-inch wheels.
Exterior upgrades are even more modest.  The front end receives new Day Running Lights along with a redesigned silver metallic bumper bar as well as standard silver roof rails on all variants. There is also a new lower door moulding and all XC90 versions are fully color-coordinated.
Out back, new tail lamps have dual light guides, LED brake lights and a silver turn indicator bulb (still with orange light). As a fial touch, new six-spoke 18-inch wheels in silver matt finish are added.
