According to a recent report, Renault and Nissan are developing an entry-level model which could be priced from €2,500 ($3,345). Slated for emerging markets, the vehicle will reportedly ride on a new platform and measure approximately 3.6 meters (11.8 feet) long. Given its speculated price, the car could compete with the Tata Nano.
It remains unclear if the mystery model is the previously announced ULC compact, but official information could be released early next year.
