Skoda, the sister concern of Volkswagen is busy to increase its product line-up in Indian Market. After discontinuing its popularSedan, the company is looking to fill this gap with an entry-levelSedancalled Skoda Mission L. The Mission L concept is under development which was already revealed at Frankfurt Motor Show.
Skoda Mission L, a small sizeSedanwhich looks like Volkswagen Vento is based on the Vision D concept. Expected, this Mission L will be kept in-between Skoda Fabia and Skoda Octiva. The Czesh auto manufacturer has taken all the possible steps to make the car suitable for Indian condition.
The car includes lots of distinctive features that can easily attract a customer. The car has handsomely designed rear, crystalline headlamps which are arranged in a nifty four-leaf clover pattern, and superbly finished interiors. On exterior, the company had done maximum research to present Mission L as a sporty, beautiful, and youthful car.
Skoda MissionL is expected to be powered by 1.6 liter petrol and a 1.4 liter diesel engine. The 1.6 Liter petrol car can produce 105 hp power. Among the safety features, the car will include ABS, EBD, airbags and traction control as standard features.

- Expected, Skoda Mission L will be powered by 1.6L DOHC petrol engine which can produce maximum power of 105 bhp and maximum torque of 153 Nm @ 3800 rpm. The Diesel engine of the Car would be 1.4 L common rail diesel engine which can produce 105 bhp power @ 4400 rpm and peak torque of 250 NM @ 2500 rpm.
- We expect, the car will be mated with 5-gear automatic transmission for optimized performance of the engines.
- Expected the petrol engine can achieve 100 KM mark on the speedometer within 12.2 seconds and the diesel engine may take little more time i.e. around 20 seconds to reach the 100 KM mark. Both the cars can achieve the top speed of 186 KMPH.
- Skoda Mission L is designed in such a way that the front face of the car gives aerodynamic shape and the front 2 uniquely designed LED/ neon headlamps gives not only beautiful look but also very good light. The headlamps flow a little towards the sides in order to facilitate as side indicators. There are also two neon front fog lamps. The centre of the bonnet flows down to the front grille that has horizontal slanting bars and the grille has a chrome lining that poses a typical smiling face and there is an air dam in between the front fog lamps.
- Expected, the dimension of the Skoda Mission L is 4507 x 1731 x 1455 mm and the wheelbase of the Car would be 2512 mm.
- Expected safety features of the car are airbags, Brake assist, ABS, EBD and parking sensors.
- Also it is expected that the car will provide many entertainment features inside the Mission L which will include in built MP3/ CD player with Bluetooth and Aux-in connectivity.
